“We had money and we thought lets get drunk. But Mama (maternal uncle) recommended that Beer’s too light and we should go for local nigaar (home fermented alcohol). After a few glasses we were buzzed. He started telling me we should snort dendrite (glue). I was seeing the situation take a different turn. I told him that I was not going to do any of that stuff and I left him. After a few hours he retuned home and started sniffing the stuff. It was a very desperate sight. I cried that day to see him like that. That was then and now things are different.
