"Father had horses so I have always been around them. I always wanted to go on horse rides and would desparately wait for my him to take me. But I wanted my own horse so when I turned 14, I bought one on credit. My father found out and beat me because he had bigger dreams for me. But I loved horses and all I ever wanted to do was ride and do stunts. So I took my horse and ran away from home and came to Nathia Gali. I took a lot of tourists on horserides and made good money. At the end of the tourist season, I went home and not only paid for my horse but handed over my earnings to my father. He never talked about school again" (Nathia Gali, Pakistan)
