"As I ran, the house fell behind me burying half my body. As I was slowly losing consciousness, I saw myself, but a younger myself, maybe 13 or 14 years old. I was in the tomato fields, while mother called me from a distance, crying out, 'Come to eat, lunch is served'. But I couldn't run. I felt someone holding on to my legs and not letting me go. Then I heard, from a very far distance, my children calling out, 'Mother wait, we are coming to get you out.'"
