"Behind my family is the house we all grew up in. Our only shelter. As far as I know, my grandfather had bought that house for a couple of thousands rupees, no papers signed. Just verbal agreement. Now the son of the seller is claiming that the house was never sold and that we need to vacate. For the past year, I have been saving penny by penny, eating only one meal a day and working like an animal. Recently, I somehow managed to buy a piece of land but just the land won’t do.
