"When I was in Qatar, I packed chickens at a plant. I am a very hard worker. I never said no to my employer. One day he called me to his office to commend my honesty. I became his best man. He would treat me like his own. Like his brother, praising me in front of his wealthy friends and family. Sometimes he sat me in the chair. I worked for him for 5 years. I had managed to save 6 lacks. On the day I was leaving, my employers called me and said, 'You are a miracle to be able to work like a strong horse and not show any pain, nor any tears. I have never seen anyone as honest and hardworking like you, not even my brothers.' He then handed me money equivalent to 1 lakh rupees. He told me that, this was not salary but a gift from him for my wife and children. I came home and with the money I had collected built those houses, one for my family and one for my brothers. With the new fertilizer, crops were also doing well and life was getting better. Children were going to school. Everything was good. Then this happened and I lost everything. After a few days of the earthquake I got a called from Qatar from my employer and he told me he had seen everything on TV. He said, 'You are my brother, tell me what you need. You can come back anytime if you need work. I will send you tickets and all the expenses.' There is little choice but how does one leave family in times like these?"
