"My father was a British Gurkha. We were well off. I went to probably the best school there was in Nepal. My monthly school fees equaled the per capita income of an average Nepali back then. My parents promised me luxury if I passed exams and I demanded the same - bikes, computer games and the like, most of which were fulfilled without question. Now, I know better. I should have asked for books, groomed myself more for my country.
