What was the happiest moment in your life?_x000D_ “My father was really sick and had been transferred to the ICU ward. He had also lost consciousness. At first, we just thought the medicines had made him weak and that he would regain consciousness in a few hours but a day had passed and he was still unconscious. The doctors came and declared him comatose. My mom would ask the doctor, ‘When will he wake up?’ but the doctors really didn’t seem to have a definite answer. All they said was let’s wait and watch. Some doctors would come and make a remark as if to say that my father wouldn’t make it. My mother would cry harder. It was past 3 days and I felt helpless. I found a room in the hospital, got down on my knees and prayed. I had never prayed like that before. The next morning, a nurse came and woke me up and said, ‘Your father woke up last night.’ I think, that moments has to be the happiest moment in my life._x000D_ - Askal Tamang, Jiling 4, Nuwakot_x000D_ For more stories go to www.storiesofnepal.com
