“She was a widow when I met her. My relatives told me that I could get another girl but I didn’t see any faults in her. How can the death of her husband be her fault? So I married her and spent an entire lifetime with her for the last 40 years. Some good times, some bad. Quarreled some days and laughed some days. And raised two healthy daughters and a son. But God took her away last year. Now the she is gone, there are only memories. Even though I truly loved her, sometimes I wish I had spoken more softly to her and had not complained about the food so much.”
