“After SLC I wanted to quit school and help my father with work at home. You know we had a small farm and father could always use some help. And we were struggling financially too. But he insisted I continue with my education. My dream was to become a nurse and serve my community but unlike a regular plus two it required a hefty deposit. So I joined plus two and then continued through to my bachelors degree in major Nepali. As a mother I would want to be able to provide for his education in whatever discipline he wants. Though I wish he becomes a doctor and serve his community.”
