“They bring the poison from across the border. They wait in the darkness of the night for it to dissolve in the water. The eggs of the fish die and sink to the bottom. The fishes die and go floating to them. These people have destroyed our livelihood. But no one knows about this. They put poison in the water. It is like putting poison in our food. So I quit fishing because my religion will not allow me to poison the water for money. I am not like them.”
