Someone in the village told me, how a settler had planted the tree 200 years ago. Today, this majesty in Rimuwa, Gulmi is a rest stop for many. Every evening the villagers gather here and rest with their daily produce from the farms and hobnob. A very symbolic sight in rural Nepal. After sharing a few laughs I took this picture. I regret not taking my picture under the tree, perhaps someday. But I left with a stupid grin. I was no more a stranger. I listened to their stories, I made a new home and memories for a lifetime.
