Bhim Bahadur Khadka Rigu, Dolakha
(Part 5/8) “From the day I got my hands on the medicines, I immediately stopped drinking the bark juice of the Puyun Tree. I could stand up on my feet. I felt like the wind. I could bury my hands and my feet in the soil to create grains. I could sleep one sleep throughout the night without fighting with the covers. Since gastritis left me, I could focus on arranging food, furniture, clothes for my family. I could work and make some money. I started playing with a few thousand. Once there was even a time in my life when I thought of leaving my family and hiding in the forest. Happiness returned. But that does not mean that I do not carry any pain in my heart. This pain comes from seeing my wife whose body has been repeatedly destroyed. Also, the headaches have come back. Some of it is from worrying about my wife and some from other things that I do not know of.”
