“My eldest daughter only went to school up to the 4th grade. So there was very little work she could find. One day she told me she wanted to go to Cyprus to find work. I thought it was a very good idea. I told her to go see the country and stay there as long as she likes. I told her she can always return to mother if her hearts starts longing for home. Now, she has reached Greece. She updates me every day about her whereabouts through Facebook Messenger and Viber. It has become so easy. It is almost like she is with me. Last time she called, she asked me to stay with her on the phone because the weather there had gone bad. We spoke until the storm passed. She has always been afraid of lightning. My poor daughter.”
