“After I left, I took my son with me. It is just me and him now. I run this small tea shop and god willing I am able to feed my son two meals. Not so long ago, I was entirely dependent on my husband. Even though my son has to spend his childhood with an absent father, I sure feel I can raise him. I do not have to put my hope on anyone. I have somehow become independent. It must be a good thing.”
