“I know how to fix things, like a leaking pipe or a broken bulb. So I do these little chores around the village every time I am back from my teaching job in Baglung. But I decline money. It is just small work and I am helping the community. Recently, a neighbour offered me money for fixing his wires but I told him, “I don’t need money. Now you don’t have to spend your evening in the dark, that is enough for me.'” (Gaurab Bastola, Bhalam, Kaski)
