“I was the only girl rolling with 15 boys in my crew. This one time, we were rolling downhill Chobar hill when the cops approached us and warned us not to skate in the area. We were about to leave when another cop came from behind screaming, and tried to snatch my skateboard. My skateboard you know. I take care of my skateboard like nothing else. That was when I got mad and punched the cop. Other cops came for his rescue and subdued me. And to the embarrassment of the cop I punched, that was when they found out I was a girl. I had pulled my hair in a beanie, you know. They called a van, arrested me and took me to Kirtipur station. I had already informed my dad of the incident and he had called the deputy inspector. So that day I spent three hours in the station, had some tea with you deputy inspector and returned home.”
