“She is getting better now. When I first started looking after her, she was a bit difficult to handle. She had her own ways and it would take me a while to coax her into doing something. Even though she would agree eventually, by the end of the day my body would be sore. I remember one incident when she just ran into the bushes as soon as she saw a tiger. I almost fell down and I know the injury would have been fatal. She was younger then and she acted out of her instinct. So I hold no grudges. I think it was last season, I had taken her to the forest and a tiger leapt in front of us. But this time she did not run, instead, she gave me cover. So I am assuming she knows me now and understands the nature of our relationship. Something in her must have told her that I needed to be saved. She did and I am returning the favor every day.”
How do you do that?
“Just by being nice to her, like I am with people.”
